Subject: LCOA – Yard Sale Clarification
Dear LCOA Homeowners,
No LCOA Yard Sales on May 10th.
At last night’s LCOA board meeting it was brought to the board’s attention that the attached Santa Barbara City notice was received in the mail by several owners announcing community wide yard sales on May 10th. The board wanted all LCOA owners to know that they may not conduct yard sales in the association area on May 10th. LCOA CC&Rs require specific controls to be implemented when yard sales are held in the association area – controlled vehicle entry, etc. In addition, the association asphalt road surfaces (north side of the circle) are being slurry coated on May 9th rendering the road surface tentatively still not drivable (additional details on this will be sent to owners in the coming weeks). The LCOA board does schedule yard sales from time to time with owner support to comply with the CC&Rs. The board will not be scheduling a yard sale on May 10th for the above reasons.
