CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
PAVING ROADS IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD
The City of Santa Barbara Street Operations will be paving roads in your neighborhood. The paving process will start end of July and is anticipated to be completed in early September.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The project will be broken up into phases, repairs failed sections of the road, lowering utilities, milling the road, paving the road, and raising the utilities up to grade. During these phases, street will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 7 AM – 5 PM. Also, portion of the road may be closed overnight.
You will have access in and out of your driveways with delays during all phases expect on PAVING days. On PAVING days there will be no access in and out of your driveways between the hours of 8 AM – 5 PM. Areas will be posted with NO PARKING signs, please park outside of the posted areas during this process. A more detailed paving schedule will go out as paving gets closer to keep you informed.
